  Originally established as Roan Ridge Farm, the property carries a rich history connected to the rise of Kansas City’s cattle trade. In the 1930s, Wilber A. Cochel, an editor at the Kansas City Star, raised short-horned cattle on the land. Today, that legacy is reflected throughout the venue, from the deep mahogany bar to the elegant details like the classic shoe shine station.
