The Lincoln Event Space is one of Kansas City’s premier wedding and event venues. Timeless, romantic, and full of character, it is a space we are proud to share with couples and guests alike.
Originally built in 1913, the venue has been thoughtfully restored with great care and attention to detail. It is the perfect setting for those who believe a grand love story deserves an equally grand location.

Capacity varies depending on the type of event and layout selected. For a standing-room-only cocktail reception, the ballroom can comfortably accommodate up to 500 guests. For a seated event that includes a dance floor, food stations, or a buffet, the space can seat up to 200 guests.

The Lincoln Event Space features a grand limestone exterior, towering ceilings, elegant skylights, and expansive windows that fill the space with natural light. Inside, you’ll find preserved historic elements like the original vault, now repurposed as a unique feature for safeguarding special moments. For guests seeking an elevated after-hours experience, the lower level offers a speakeasy-style lounge with vintage charm.
Additional amenities include spacious dressing rooms for both the bride and groom, along with hidden architectural elements like a cast-iron staircase that reflect the building’s timeless character. While maintaining its original elegance, the space has been thoughtfully updated with modern touches throughout.
Rental includes tables and chairs for up to 250 guests, along with extra tables for buffet and cake displays. White poly linens are available for use, or you’re welcome to bring your own from one of our preferred vendors.

The Lincoln Event Space is a recently renovated historic venue, and we ask that all décor be handled with care to preserve the integrity of the space.
All decorations must be placed and removed without causing any damage. Loose glitter and confetti are not permitted indoors or in the garden. Real candles are allowed but must be fully enclosed in glass cylinders, as open flames are not permitted.
Any structures such as chuppahs, tents, canopies, or installations must be completely free-standing and may not be attached to walls or other parts of the building. Drilling, nailing, or mounting of any kind is not allowed.
