The Loretto offers a park-like atmosphere in the middle of the urban core of Kansas City. An abundance of trees, bushes and flowers adorn the grand architecture of the early-1900s. Built in 1902 by the Sisters of Loretto, this unique property is steeped in Kansas City history and possesses memories of thousands of students and their families. The Loretto Academy originally operated as an educational facility and was occupied from 1903 until 1966 when it was sold to Calvary Bible College. In the mid-80s it then changed hands to a private owner who renovated the building.

Our event space capacity is 220 seated and 250 cocktail.

The main event space offers 2,920 square feet with ceilings ranging from 10.5 to 11 feet high. In addition, there’s a 1,000 square foot auxiliary space called The Parlour, which features another great view and is available to rent for small ceremonies, cocktail hours, party transitions, or additional bar setup. Your rental also includes access to a fully equipped Bride’s Room and a Groom’s Room/Green Room for getting ready or relaxing throughout the event.
