Located on the Historic Harrisonville Square, the Davis Brothers Garage was originally built in 1915. After a full renovation by the Freeland and Beck families, the building was transformed into Beck Event Space and opened its doors to Cass County and the greater Kansas City area in 2017.
At the end of 2023, the Becks retired from the business. With the change in ownership, Jill and Mike Freeland felt it was the right moment to rename the venue and begin a new chapter. Honoring the building’s rich history and its listing on the National Historic Registry, they chose the name Davis Event Space as a tribute to the original Davis Brothers Garage and its place in the Historic Square District.
